IBSA - Greater Kansas City Metro Area

Area Program Activities & Services:

  • Business development, support services and technical assistance to startups and those looking to expand a business venture

  • Outreach to small and disadvantaged business concerns to inform them about various local/state policies in play that will impact their business, employees and their industry 

  • Participating in/with various community organizations and committees as to stay informed on changes that could impact those we serve in the regional area,

  • Educating residents and small business concerns on the impact, and future of advanced technology that is taking place with projects such as Google Fiber (KCK/KCMO)

 

Other activities include helping low-income individuals enter the workforce through counseling on employment, assist in entering occupational training opportunities and support services for those looking to start or expand a small business.

IBSA utilize internal and external expertise to assist us meet our mission to those we serve. Services, programs and activities are comprehensive services and include referral to other community-based organization.
